I advise nonprofits on protecting their data, so I hold this site to the same standard. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and what happens to it.
This site is operated by Adam Broidy, doing business as Envisionyst, based in New York.
What this site collects
There are exactly two places on this site where you can share information, and both are voluntary:
- The contact form. Your name, email address, and — if you choose to share them — your organization, budget range, what you're facing, and how you heard about me.
- The free guide form. Your email address.
There are no accounts, no payments, and no other data entry anywhere on the site.
How that information is used
- Contact form submissions are used for one thing: responding to your inquiry.
- If you request the guide, I'll send it to you, along with occasional emails on nonprofit technology. Every one includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes are honored promptly.
I never sell, rent, or share your information for marketing purposes. No exceptions.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts of any kind.
Services that help run this site
Like most websites, this one relies on a couple of third-party services to function:
- Netlify hosts the site and processes form submissions. As the host, Netlify keeps standard server logs (which include IP addresses) for security and operations. See the Netlify privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which involves sending your IP address to Google. See the Google privacy policy.
These services process data on my behalf to operate the site — they're not given your form submissions for their own use.
Your choices
If you'd like to know what information I have about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email adam@envisionyst.com and I'll take care of it. If you're on the email list, the unsubscribe link in any email works immediately — no need to ask twice.
Security and retention
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and are kept only as long as they're useful — an inquiry I've answered and closed doesn't need to live forever. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but I apply the same judgment here that I bring to my clients' data.
Children
This site is for nonprofit leaders and isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new date at the top. I won't quietly weaken it.
